CHRIS MATHEOS is currently based out of The East Bay in California (east of Oakland). He still freelances as a bassist. He also teaches lessons when he is in town.

TEACHING BIO: Chris Matheos studied music at The Berklee College of Music in Boston. He also took classes at The Eastman School of Music & Hochstein School of Music. He has taken bass lessons Jeff Berlin (jazz legend), JD Deservio (of Black Label Society), Ed Lucie, Bruce Gertz, and Joe Santarre. He has performed master classes and clinics at: The Berklee College of Music, DuQuesne University (guest instructor), University of Rochester, Crane School of Music, Lynior Ryne College (NC), CW Post University (NYC), The Music Loft (NC), Mars Music, The Guitar Center (all over), The Great House of Guitars, The Guitar Villa (PA), San asch Music (CT), Two Street Music (CA), The Fret Mill Music Comp (VA), Arcata Music (CA), Fordham Music (NC), Borders (Albany, Buffalo, Greensboro NC, Nashville, Memphis, Oxford MI,)..
